The “Oh”s in the chorus have three chords: E, Bm, and Gbm

    • Wigwam_21

I find that playing an e like this:
      x|————-7
      o|———4
      o|———4
      o|———4
      (or don’t play bottom string)
Then sliding down to D is useful between e and Gbm

  3. For the chorus, I think it should go Gbm, D, Bm and then Gb / F#

  4. Ukumaster123

I agree with Kat In The Hat!

  5. I am... GROOT

Weeellp. My fingers are too small to do the E chords, anyone know an easier chord that sounds kinda similar? I tried e minor but it didn’t sound great…. (‘: :'(

    • Flowerstories

When I started playing I replaced all E chords with Em. The sound is not the same but pretty close. But I recommend that you practise the E chord a lot and then you’ll be able to do it. Until then sticking to Em is just fine.

    • I play the E chord like this:
Put your first finger over the first fret first string, second finger over second string (dont press on this finger. You just need to put it there to stop the string from vibrating), put your third finger on the fourth string, second fret.
      Hope this helps!!!! :)

    • an easy way to E is to bar the 4th fret, or you can put one finger on A string, 2nd fret, and the put another finger on the G, C, and E strings on the 4th fret. :)

    • BlurryUkuleles

I put my ring finger on the string on the fourth fret, my middle finger on the second fret, and for the first fret I use my thumb. It takes a minute to get it to sound clear but once you get used to it it works pretty well.

    • Wigwam_21

I usually play it like this:
      x|————-7
      o|———4
      o|———4
      o|———4
or if you cant reach 7th on bottom just don’t play bottom

    • SmolBeanForLife

      E7 usually works pretty well

  7. whats the strumming pattern??

  8. Dun with Tyler

What’s the stum pattern for Fairly Local??

  9. Strumming patterns ?

  10. TØP trash

I am….. Groot!, an easier way to play the E is do do what you do with D expect do that on the fourth fret while on the same strings

  11. I like to play a basic DD-UU-DU for most of the song, but during the raps/verses I like to pluck all four strings at once (i also prefer to play +3)

  12. alternatively for E just do this
    |—2— — —
    |—2— — —
    |— — 4 —
    |— — 4 —
    hopefully i helped <3

  13. regional_at_melanie

I play the E chord like this
    G|—-x
    C|—-4
    E|—-4
    A|—-4
its sounds way better trust me ;)))))
